Sweet Pea - 1 month Update

Sweet Pea is following in her older brother's footsteps and gaining weight like a champ, sleeping like an angel and making our house even more full of happiness. At her appointment today (technically at 1 month and 5 days) she weighed in at 11 pounds 1 ounce and was 22 3/4 inches long. She is in the 95th percentile in both height and weight - which is up from her initial 50th percentile at birth. We are starting her on some baby zantac because she is exhibiting the classic signs of acid reflux. Poor baby arches, screams and cries whenever she spits up so we are hoping this will help her significantly. She is also starting on a vitamin D supplement because she is a winter baby. She is still a great sleeper at night and last night slept from 9-5, woke to eat and went back to sleep until 7. She isn't such a great sleeper during the day unless she is being held but we are hoping that the baby zantac will help with that. The doctor asked us how she is doing holding her head up and I laughed because she gets virtually no tummy time because I can't lay her down without her brothers attacking/loving on her. We still are not sure if her eye color is going to stay blue or change to brown - they are a dark blue at this point so it is too close to call. She is having more and more alert times and just loves to stare at her brothers and has given me a few smiles. She tracks me in a room if she hears my voice. Even though her weight gain is significant, she still seems to petite to me and I am just drinking up all of her littleness as much as I possibly can. Little Man is still just as in love with Sweet Pea as the day she came home from the hospital and Peanut is still trying to still her binky. Life is crazy in this house. I have to start prepping to leave the house an hour before we need to leave and we are still late for everything. We have an entire room gated off just to give Sweet Pea a place to sleep undisturbed (we also put the Christmas tree in there so that it doesn't get climbed). All in all, life is so much sweeter with our Sweet Pea in it!!!
